Something that’s been coming up a lot in client conversations recently is noticing a dip in engagement and reach in content. So, if you’ve been feeling this as well, here are 3 strategies that you can use to help create content that actually works.

1. Use your clients and audience as market research:
One of the best ways to create content that resonates is by creating it around what your community is already asking you. So, whenever you’re in a client meeting, write down the questions they ask, or what your audience is DM’ing you or commenting on your posts. Then, create content off the back of that. Your content will be tailored to attracting even more of your ideal clients, because they’re the ones whose questions you’re answering!

2. Use this trick using your insights:
Ahh, insights – such an exciting word for some and so overwhelming for others. Here’s something simple you can action right now to create better content that will take all of 30 seconds. Head to your IG, go to your professional dashboard. Then, see all insights. Go to accounts engaged and expand your date range to 90 days. From here you can see the most engaging content you’ve posted in the last 90 days, meaning they have the most likes, comments, saves or shares. See if you can find any commonality between these pieces of content and go ahead and create similar posts this week. Email me back and let me know how this goes for you! Engagement is a great metric to track, because it indicates that your content is resonating with your audience, helps increase your reach and indicates that your messaging is on point. Win, win, win.

3. Try utilising rich content:
If you’re selling high-value products, then experiment creating rich content to help build trust and showcase your authority. This could look like longer form videos, webinars, podcasts or email marketing. In the age of quick, digestible content reigning supreme and being just about everywhere. Going the extra mile makes a big difference.
